City of Tracy and Tracy Disposal proudly offers single stream recycling. The blue bin provided holds all your household recyclables accepted under the curbside recycling program.

The following items are allowed in your recycle container:

• Cans (Aluminum, Steel, and Tin)
• Catalogs
• Clean Aluminum Foil and Trays
• Clean Corrugated Cardboard
• Clean Paper Bags
• Envelopes
• Glass Bottles and Jars
• Ledger Paper
• Newspapers
• Plastic Bottles and Jugs
• Printer Paper
• Shoe Boxes
• Wrapping Paper Without Foil

Recycle containers are picked up every other week, alternating between the east and west sides. The divider for east and west in the City is Tracy Blvd. View the 2026 Recycle Container Pick-Up Schedule(PDF, 841KB).

Plastic bags are not allowed in the recycle container, whether individually or containing recyclable items. However, look for the plastic bag recycling bin at the stores in this table.
