The Lolly Hansen Senior Center offers a wide variety of classes, activities, special events and social service programs to anyone 50+. The senior center is an active place with a positive atmosphere. Our focus is on health and wellness programs, instilling healthy habits and enhanced lifestyle opportunities. Medicare Beneficiaries Health Fair

Did you know the Inflation Reduction Act has many major provision that will lower Part D drug costs? Do you have questions about whether your medications are date to take together? Would you like to get your annual flu shot or other vaccines, cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar, bone density, or several other free health screenings/services? If you answered "YES" to any of these questions, please come to the Medicare Health Fair that will be provided by the University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy in partnership with Lolly Hansen Senior Center.

Coffee With a Cop

Break down the barriers between police officers and the community they serve. Join the Tracy Police Department monthly at the Senior Center to discuss issues and learn more about each other. Enjoy distraction-free conversations with your local police officers while building relationships.

National Night Out

In partnership with the Tracy Police Department, we will be hosting our 5th annual National Night Out. Join us in promoting police-community partnerships with fun games and food! Help make our neighborhoods safer and more caring place to live.

New Puzzle Palooza

Take your love for jigsaw puzzles to the next level! Compete against your peers to see who can piece it all together the fastest. Grab a partner to speedily put together a 500-piece puzzle. Prizes will be awarded, along with bragging rights. Light refreshments served.

Interested in learning a new language? Come by the Senior Center on Mondays to learn French!
Fitness

Writing Group

Do you enjoy writing or want to start? Come by the Senior Center on Thursdays for a social group of new and experienced writers. The first 15 minutes is for introductions, talking about what you will work on, followed by one hour of writing time. Conclude the meeting with a 15-minute discussion about what you worked on, problems you might have had, etc. Bring your computer, tablets, pen and paper, or read books on writing!
Games


Phase 10 is based on a variant of rummy known as Liverpool rummy and is a member of the contract rummy family. It requires a special deck or two regular decks of cards; it can be played by two to six people.

In chess, participants will learn the fundamentals and work on improving their concentration and strategic thinking. Participants will learn first decision, multiple strategies, and to play with others.
Trips
Winchester Mystery House

Apple Hill Trip

Join us as we take a trip to Apple Hill! Enjoy the beautiful mountain air and scenic views as we stop at various ranches, and explore fruit stands, bake shops, and much more! Note: There will be moderate walking on uneven surfaces.
