How to Start Service

  • Complete a utility application
  • Provide required documentation

 

Billing, Fees & Account Information

Utility bills are mailed monthly for the prior month's usage and are due upon receipt.

Late Payments

  • Payments not received by the delinquent date listed on the bill will be charged a late fee of 10% or $6, whichever is greater
  • Accounts more than 60 days delinquent may be subject to disconnection
  • A $35 processing fee, plus all past due balances, is required to maintain or restore service

Returned Payments

  • A $25 fee applies to all returned payments
  • After a returned payment, the City may require cash or guaranteed funds for future payments

Deposit & Account Information

  • A $175 deposit is required for renters
  • Deposits are applied to the final bill when service ends
  • A new account is required for each service address
  • Deposits may apply per location

Water Service Safety

Only City personnel may disconnect or reconnect water service at the meter. Unauthorized tampering may result in additional fees or charges.
