Employment Verification

The City of Tracy has partnered with The Work Number® service from Equifax for income and employment verifications. This service allows employees and verifiers to receive secure and instant automated income and employment verifications 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year.

How to Use The Work Number®

  • Click on Get Started and choose Employment and Income Verifications – Verify someone's employment, income, or work history

  • Lenders shouldn't need to locate the business in the dropdown. Go to www.theworknumber.com, 'Log In' (top right in menu), ----> 'Verify for your Organization'. 

  • Lenders need to be credentialed in order to log in. If you are not credentialed, please select 'get started' ----> 'Income and Employment Verifications' to create an account.
