Membership Qualifications and Residency Requirements
The City/Schools Liaison Committee is comprised of two seated Tracy City Council Members.
Term
The two seated Tracy City Council Committee Members are appointed annually to serve a one-year term.
Compensation
The City/Schools Liaison Committee position is a volunteer, non-paid position.
Duties
The scope of the Committee is as follows:
- Meets quarterly with School District officials to discuss issues of mutual concern, i.e., school pedestrian routes, bus routes, facilities, crossing guards, etc.
Meeting Date and Location
The City/Schools Liaison Committee shall meet quarterly on the third Thursday in the following months: February, May, August, and November at 1:00 p.m.
Location rotates between Tracy City Hall and the Tracy Unified School District Office.
Additional meetings may be scheduled by the Committee at its discretion.
