VOLT Institute Brings Next "VOLT on the Go" Training to Tracy

TRACY, Calif. — VOLT Institute is continuing its VOLT on the Go workforce training series with a free Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Training in Tracy, giving residents the opportunity to gain hands-on skills for careers in advanced manufacturing and industrial technology.

The training will be held August 11–13, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. each day at the Tracy Transit Center, 50 E. Sixth Street, Tracy, CA 95376.

Offered at no cost, the course is open to anyone looking to build new skills, upskill, or explore careers in manufacturing, automation, and industrial technology.

Participants will receive introductory, hands-on training in programming, operating, and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)—the systems used to control machinery, production lines, conveyor systems, robotic equipment, and other automated processes in manufacturing and logistics facilities.

VOLT on the Go brings industry-focused training directly into communities, expanding access to workforce development opportunities and helping residents prepare for careers in high-demand industries.
