TRACY, Calif. – The Grand Theatre Center for the Arts officially unveiled its highly anticipated 2026/27 Season to Grand Foundation members on Thursday evening, launching a milestone year as the performing arts complex celebrates the 20th Anniversary of its reopening.
Marking two decades as the cultural heart of Tracy, the Anniversary Season features an exciting lineup of internationally acclaimed artists, beloved returning favorites, family programming, comedy, rock, jazz, dance, world music, educational experiences, and free community events designed to inspire audiences of all ages.
Tickets for the 2026/27 Season go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, August 14, at 10 a.m.
The celebration begins with GRANDfest on Saturday, Sept. 26, a free, day-long event transforming downtown Tracy into a vibrant celebration of arts and culture. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., visitors can enjoy an Artwalk, exhibition opening, free Arts Education classes, family activities, and more. The festivities continue from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. with a free outdoor concert.
The Anniversary festivities begin even earlier with the Grand Foundation's Bridgerton Gala on Sept. 12. This elegant evening will celebrate the Grand's 20th Anniversary while supporting the future of arts and culture through an unforgettable night of entertainment, philanthropy, and community.
The 2026/27 Season showcases an exceptional mix of nationally recognized performers and internationally celebrated artists. Highlights include American Idol favorites Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard; rock powerhouse Plush; America's top psychic medium Matt Fraser; Lincoln Center's Swing Into the Holidays; the world-renowned Peking Acrobats; vocal phenomenon Naturally 7; mentalist Colin Cloud; the electrifying Step Afrika!; family favorite Kate the Chemist; Bassel & the Supernaturals; Celebrating Meat Loaf featuring members of Meat Loaf's longtime band; the hilarious Hold Onto Your Butts; internationally acclaimed sitar virtuoso Niladri Kumar; singer-songwriter Amilia Spicer; the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players performing The Pirates of Penzance; Latin ensemble ¡Tumbao!; Ballet Hispánico New York; and pop favorites The Click Five, with chart-topping hits including Jenny and Just the Girl.
The season also welcomes the return of audience favorites including Y&T, comedian Jeff Allen, Central West Ballet, Children's Dance Theatre, Tracy Theater Arts Collaborative, Día de los Muertos Family Day, CIFFA, and The Nutcracker. Continuing the Grand's commitment to accessibility, the season will once again include two sensory-friendly dance performances designed to create an inclusive experience for all.
In addition to its ticketed performances, the Grand will continue offering popular recurring community programs throughout the year, including Open Mic, Lounge Nights, and FREE movies, providing even more opportunities for residents and visitors to experience the arts.
