NOTICE INVITING BIDS

for

PROCUREMENT OF POLYETHYLENE CHEMICAL STORAGE TANKS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF TRACY (hereinafter "City") is requesting bids for three POLYETHYLENE CHEMICAL STORAGE TANKS 2026 and will receive bids via PlanetBids https://vendors.planetbids.com/portal/83328/portal-home no later than October 29, 2026, up to the hour of 1:00 P.M. (Pacific Standard Time). 

1. The items to be delivered by the successful Bidder are fully described in this request.  Bidder can submit questions for clarification via the Q&A feature on PlanetBids until 10:00 A.M. on October 21, 2026. Questions will not be responded to verbally or through emails. Addenda will be posted on October 22, 2026 by 10 A.M.

    

2. All responsive submittals shall be reviewed and evaluated by the City in order to determine which Bidder best meets the City’s needs by demonstrating the competence and professional qualifications necessary for the satisfactory performance of the required services. The criteria by which the City shall evaluate submittals are set forth in this notice.

    

3. All Bidders are required to complete a “Vendor Information Sheet” on PlanetBids to be entered in the City of Tracy Vendor Database, which is required to submit a bid . Bidders will be notified by the City of any addenda that may be issued to bid. Vendors must register in the City’s Vendor Database to be notified of such addenda.

    

4. To register, to go PlanetBids Vendor Portal and follow the instructions applicable to Bidder. Following submission, Bidder will receive a confirmation message within 24 hours from the City. Bidders are solely responsible for maintaining up-to-date and accurate information in the Vendor Database.

    

5. Bid shall be submitted electronically via PlanetBids. Bid shall not be mailed, e-mailed, or faxed to the City. Bid not received by the date and time specified in this BID will be rejected.
