CITY OF TRACY NOTICE INVITING BIDS
GASOLINE AND DIESEL FUEL SUPPLIER 2026 - 2028
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF TRACY (hereinafter “City”) requests bids (“NIB”) from qualified proposers to provide fuel services. The purpose of this NIB is to obtain competitive bids that will provide the best value to the City of Tracy for delivery of gasoline and diesel fuel. Bids will be received using Planet Bids.
Submissions of Bid Responses shall be made no later than: August 19, 2026 by 2:00 PM
1. The purpose of the Notice Inviting Bids (NIB) is to solicit pricing proposals to establish a General Services Agreement (GSA) on an as-needed basis over multiple fiscal years. The services to be performed by the successful bidder are described in the NIB. The general Scope of Services is to provide gasoline and diesel fuel delivery.
2. The City of Tracy (City) has the intent to establish General Services Agreement(s) (GSA) with qualified and responsible bidders, for a contract term of two (2) years, with the option to extend for an additional three (3) years, unless earlier terminated or amended by the City.
3. All Bidders must complete a "Vendor Information Sheet" on Planet Bids to be entered in the City of Tracy Vendor Database, which is required to submit a Bid. Bidders will be notified by the City of any addenda that may be issued to this Notice Inviting Bids (NIB). Vendors must register in the City's Vendor Database to be notified of such addenda.
4. To register, go to: PlanetBids Vendor Portal and follow the instructions applicable to Bidder. Following submission, Bidder will receive a confirmation message within 24 hours from the City. Bidders are solely responsible for maintaining up-to-date and accurate information in the Vendor Database.
5. The CITY reserves the right to award the bid to a Bidder other than the lowest Bidder if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the CITY. The CITY also reserves the right to reduce the scope of work at any time and to reject any and all bids or waive any irregularities in any bid process.
