City of Tracy Opens Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership Program Applications for 2019-2020


The City of Tracy’s annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME) applications for projects beginning July 1, 2019 are now available. The funds, granted through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) target programs and/or projects geared towards assisting low and moderate-income persons by providing decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expanding economic opportunity.

An informational meeting to help guide applicants through the process and answer questions will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019, at 5 p.m. at Tracy City Hall, 333 Civic Center Plaza, Conference Room 109. Applications are due by 12 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Download the application.

City of Tracy & South County Fire Authority Now Accepting Applications for 2019 Safe and Sane Fireworks Sales Lottery 


The South County Fire Authority will facilitate another year of Safe and Sane Fireworks sales for the upcoming 2019 Independence Day celebrations. Firework stand applications and program instructions are now available to non-profit groups wishing to participate in the upcoming lottery to be eligible to sell Safe and Sane Fireworks in 2019.

Applications are available now at the South County Fire Authority Administration office, and can be downloaded here. 

Completed lottery applications must be returned to the Fire Chief's Office at 835 N. Central Ave. during normal business hours from November 1, 2018 through December 6, 2018, 5:00 p.m., at which time the filing period for that year will close. All required documentation and signatures must be included with this application at the time of submission.

Corral Hollow Road Construction Project


Beginning April 23, 2018, several segments along Corral Hollow Road will be closed for specific intervals of time to construct utility connections for new development in south Tracy, including Phase 1 of the Tracy Hills master-planned community. Phase 1A requires new water lines on or adjacent to Corral Hollow Road that will connect to the City of Tracy’s Water Treatment Plant, south of the Tracy Airport as well as a sewer line connecting to the end of the City’s sewer main line at Parkside Drive.
