Complete City of Tracy's Parks, Recreation, and Trails Master Plan Survey!

The City is updating our Parks, Recreation and Trails Master Plan. The Master Plan guides us in maintaining a vibrant, sustainable system of parks, trails, and recreation programs. It’s how we create community livability. Make your voice heard and share your feedback by completing our online survey! Your opinions are important to the Plan update process and the future of our City’s parks. The survey is available between July 12th, 2019, and August 12th, 2019.

Tracy Public is Invited to Participate in Police Chief Recruitment Survey and Process

Members of the Tracy community are encouraged to participate in our Chief of Police recruitment process by providing survey feedback on the desired qualifications and characteristics of the next Tracy Police Chief.  The survey is available until September in both English and Espanol.  The community feedback received will be integrated into the recruitment process, using the desired character qualities to inform the ideal Police Chief candidate profile.

City of Tracy Public Safety Power Shutoff Preparedness Webpage

Upon initial assessment of current facilities and resources available, the City of Tracy is prepared to continue providing essential services such as water, wastewater and public safety services to the community in the event of a power outage of 48 hours affecting some or all of the city. Additional information regarding the City’s plans will be provided at the City Council Meeting on July 16, 2019 at 7 PM, where PG&E and City leaders will be providing an informational presentation.

Request for Proposals for Affordable Housing Funds for Rental Development

Up to a maximum of $4 million in funding is available to support predevelopment, acquisition, construction, or rehabilitation of affordable rental housing. 
An informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. inside City Hall, Conference Room 203. All inquiries shall be submitted in writing to Barbara Harb at barbara.harb@cityoftracy.org  by Friday, June 28, 2019.
The deadline for proposals is Monday, July 22, 2019 by 2:00 p.m. 

MacArthur Drive Widening and Reconstruction Project to Begin Late May, 2019

As part of the City’s ongoing efforts to serve the increased traffic demands in our growing community, the Tracy City Council awarded a construction contract at the irregular meeting on Tuesday, April 16th, for the MacArthur Drive Widening and Reconstruction Project.  The work to widen MacArthur Drive between Schulte Road and Valpico Road from two to four lanes is expected to begin by the end of next month. Construction Notice - Lammers Road Construction and Closure

Between May 28 and June 30, 2019, construction is planned for the installation of piping for recycled water on Byron Road between Lammers and Grant Line Road in Tracy. To minimize delays, flaggers will be facilitating
