Steve Abercrombie has been a dedicated resident of the City of Tracy since 1988. With a commitment to public service, Steve served as a D.A.R.E. officer in both the City of Hayward and the City of Tracy for over 30 years, positively impacting the community through his work in local schools.
Steve’s involvement in local education and service extends to his recent six-year term on the Tracy Unified School District Board of Trustees, where he worked to support the district’s mission of providing quality education for all students. He currently serves as Chairperson of Brighter Christmas, an organization focused on providing holiday assistance to families in need and is the Recording Secretary for Good Samaritan Community Services, which serves the Tracy community.
Having previously served on the Tracy City Council from 2006 to 2012, Steve brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to serving his community.
Steve and his wife Pam are the proud parents of seven children, and four grandchildren.
