Removal and Replacement of Cooling Tower at Tracy Police Department

This is to advise you that sealed bids for the work shown on the specifications entitled:

CIP 71088

will be accepted by the City of Tracy, at the Public Works Department, 520 Tracy Blvd., Tracy, California 95376, in a sealed envelope marked “DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL” until:

MONDAY, MARCH 13, 2017 @ 12:00 PM

The project is more specifically defined as follows:

One Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC) Cooling Tower (Model # F-1441-M), tools, material and labor to complete the following scope of work:

• Remove and dispose of existing BAC cooling tower.
• Furnish and install a new BAC Model # F-1441-M cooling tower.
• Cooling tower to be equipped with 304-stainless steel water basin.
• Furnish and install an electronic water controller.
• Furnish and install a basin heater and controller.
• Furnish and install a new chemical pump system for water treatment. Chemical to be supplied by City of Tracy.
• Furnish and install (2) fused disconnects and whips.
• Furnish and install (1) new single speed 20 HP fan motor.
• Furnish and install (1) new single speed 3 HP pump.
• Furnish and install a new 20 HP motor starter for fan motor.
• Furnish and install a new 3 HP motor starter for the pump.
• Provide and install conduit and high voltage wiring.
• Furnish and install (2) new butterfly valves and install PVC piping from butterfly valves to the new cooling tower.
• Flush and testing of cooling tower.
• Label piping for identification as necessary.
• Crane and rigging as necessary to perform scope.
• Start and test new cooling tower and place into service per manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Provide additional insured certificate.
• Provide prevailing wage documentation.
• Permits and fees.
• Supply (2) hours training, operation and maintenance manuals.
• One (1) year labor and materials warranty from date of beneficial use.
